Worth the time

The past few weeks at our church Andy Stanley has been giving a series called Balance. Basically it has been a challenge to look at how we live our lives mainly by looking at where our money goes! But beyond that Andy gives the challenge to live our lives with the thought process of: GIVE...SAVE...LIVE! Quite a different way that most of us do...I know my mindset most of the time is trying to make sure we have what we need to live...and what we want...then saving and giving!
So with that said...something that is close to my and Jason's heart is an organization called Compassion International! It is something that really is so small in the sense of what you give...but compared to what the give to that person...well watch this video and you will see. I promise it is worth your time! Let's be honest we all have a million things we need to do, but sometimes we need to take a moment and spend some time looking at something that might change our perspective! (from us to others) One thing for sure is that this is an organization we want our girls to grow up loving and being involved in and more than that...we want to start teaching them to have the mindset of giving first always!
