If you were at Dick's Sporting Goods on Sunday...

And you were one of the many people who saw this little redhead doing this...

Or this...

Or maybe this...

Well then, hopefully you were as entertained as her sister was!
Let's just say she loves the spotlight...and those were only a few of the hundred "vogue" poses Reese was doing the entire time!

Three Cheers For Spaghetti

HIP

HIP
HOORAY!

During Spaghetti dinner the other night Hadley started lifting her hands over her head and saying "ray"...to which Reese began to do the same and say "hooray". They went back and forth for about 5 minutes and we were all laughing!

Did we forget something?

Seriously, that was how Jason and I felt all weekend! When we got married, we decided that we were going to try and take an anniversary trip together (just the two of us) every year! Well, we have succeeded except for last year, since I was enormously pregnant with Hadley and the idea of traveling did not seem fun! So, all of that to say...it has been two years since Jason and I took a long trip together without the kiddos! While we missed them so much...(and it seriously did feel like we forgot something)...We had an incredible time!
The view from our room down at the pool
I am such a sucker for cool pools...and this one was incredible...and I loved that it was a saltwater pool
The sunsets here were amazing
Not sure what was wrong with my camera here but the pool was even better at night
"Unconditional Surrender" I loved this...it was right in the heart of downtown Sarasota by the docks...it is a memorial to WWII...depicting a sailor who was caught on camera kissing a random woman after coming home from the war...I love it!
Oh...yes, did I mention that Sarasota was where Jason grew up, and I had never been. So, that was our destination...now I know why he loved it so much! While we were living it up...the girls were kicking back with Grandma Shirla in Birmingham
They all had a great time...playing, going to the zoo, getting ice cream and balloons...and lots of love from Grandma. It was such a gift to us for Shirla to come and take care of the girls! Family is amazing!

One last little hug before Grandma Shirla headed back to Missouri! The girls miss you already Grandma!

11 months

I'm late, I'm late, I'm late! I know...you don't care, but I do! My head has been crazy, Jason and I took a much needed vacation together (more to come on that) so I am just now getting to Hadley being 11 months!!!
Isn't she so stinkin' cute! Again...I am saying it...I can't believe she is 11 months, but I love it. I feel like with every day Hadley gets more and more personality and more and more fun! She is crawling now...she does combo of the "normal crawl" (on all fours) and the "army crawl" (which is so funny to me...I never really knew what people meant because Reese never did that...but now I do and it is funny!) She still loves to babble and has added a few new words...uh-oh (sounds like uh-uh) and "nanna" for banana. She has eight teeth now...and still very little hair! She is for sure a red head like her sister...and I think she will keep her beautiful blue eyes like Reese has! Hadley LOVES our dogs...whenever we go outside with them (or on the rare occasion that they come in) she goes crazy! Reese is still the most entertaining thing to her...and they love to laugh at each other! My favorite thing about her is her smile...seriously it melts my heart!

Family, Friends and the Fourth

We traveled to Atlanta to celebrate the 4th with friends and family and we had a great weekend! I love going to Atlanta because it is not only where the majority of my family lives, but we also have some great friends there as well!

We got to see Lindsay and her son Bryson for a little bit on Friday...they had a great time playing. Bryson thankfully does not mind Reese's invasion of personal space...and they both do lots of kissing!!
We also got to see Aunt B and Uncle Steve (Reese is so glad to call him that now)...we had a great dinner but the highlight was the fireworks Steve did for Reese and Hadley!

The Grand Finale

At Bebe's house we made the traditional flag fruit pizza that Reese decorated! The girls loved seeing their Bebe, Aunt Ashley and Pop. We also got to see my grandmother Myrl...and Reese did some dancing entertainment for her...sadly I did not do a good job of taking pictures! We spent a few afternoons at the pool...Daddy made a great ride for Reese
