Water Fun

This weekend we enjoyed the weather with some water fun!

Reese and Hadley LOVE running in the sprinklers...Hadley has run in them a few times with her clothes on...I was glad to have them in their swimsuits! Some time in the baby pool...which looks crazy this summer...we have way outgrown this! So, we headed over to the pool...but I did not bring my camera for that one!

We love our neighborhood and part of that is because we have a great walking/running trail that goes along this creek...so the girls suited up and had a blast! Here is Reese exploring Daddy and Hadley

Yes, little bit got in the action...she hung out with Mommy...and kept smiling!

Caught in the act...take a guess...let's just say that in our potty training with Hadley...if the creek was the potty we would be set!

A wedding weekend away

This weekend we celebrated the wedding of these two beautiful people!

The New Mr. and Mrs. Wyn Smith

The wedding was incredible and Merry Michael was an absolutely beautiful bride, of course!

Now when I say we went to the wedding....I mean only WE went...no little ones! What?

These two cuties went to Atlanta to spend some time with Bebe, Ashley and Pop. We picked them up today and they were worn out! It is so great for us to know that our girls are in great hands and that they have the best time! Thank you...thank you! And our littliest cutie stayed in Birmingham with our incredible friends, Mike and Shelli Morrow. This is Brynlee hanging out with their little girl Ellie!
This is Mike and Shelli's son, Graham, reading to our Brynlee. I mean seirously, not many people would offer to watch your 3 month old while they have two children of their own! To say that they went beyond the call of friendship is an understatement. They allowed Jason and I to have a child free weekend away...and we will be forever grateful!
Back to the wedding weekend...it was at a place called Gorham's Bluff...INCREDIBLE...this was at the rehearsal dinner (Audrey, Merry Michael -the bride- and me)
Such a great wedding weekend and so much fun to see friends!

The weekend was an incredible celebration of Merry Michael and Wyn and as a huge bonus a chance for Jason and I to get away for a few days together! Thank you so much Mom, Dad, Ashley, Mike and Shelli...thank you is not enough!

3 months

I had such good intentions of posting this yesterday...on her actual 3 month birthday...but well intentions were all they were!

Moving on...little Bryn is 3 months...and she is getting bigger and bigger and cuter and cuter! She truely is a VERY easy baby! I am still not sure if it is because I am way more laid back this go around than I was with the other 2...or if she is just that easy. She just goes with the flow and honestly...she rarely cries! She sleeps great...normally from 10-6:30 or 7!!!! She naps great and well, she just hangs out! Brynlee smiles all of the time and she loves watching her sisters...especially after dinner time when Reese and Hadley take to the living room floor for some good dancing! (if you could only see it)! She still has so much hair...I can not believe it...the old man bald spot is coming on the back...but the rest is still there! And yes...she will be a red head...she has to be!

Here she is on her favorite playmat trying to roll over...she has made to her side so far! Oh that smile...it gets me every time!
Hadley looks a little drugged here...I promise she is not...I tried to get the moment before this of her loving her little sister! There is that smile again! The big and the little

I'm 3 months old!!!

Mother's Day and a little Ballet

This weekend has been lots of fun...family time, ballet recital, and mother's day! This morning I woke up to 3 little girls bringing me breakfast (with daddy's help). Reese and Hadley both said "happy mother's day mommy"...which was quickly followed with "can we have a bite?"! We had a great day together and I am so grateful to be the mother of 3 precious little girls that seriously have taught me so much...mainly by allowing me to see and hear myself through little ones eyes and ears! (which can be sweet and scary)

Honestly, the best part of the weekend was getting to go to Reese's ballet recital! I was so excited...I loved ballet as a little girl...and I loved getting ready for them...so did Reese!

The ballerina in her ballet pose

The ballet bun...seriously that thing is sprayed, gelled, and hair pinned tight!

The sassy ballet pose

This was actually a picture from the dress rehearsal...no pictures were allowed during the actual performance

After the performance with mommy...she did so great! Lots of smiles the whole time!
With daddy and Hadley holding the flowers that Hadley gave her.

This peanut had her ballet tights on....but she slept through the whole thing!
