Doing a twirl for the picture
This was Reese in the car as we were waiting in the carpool line...
And the carpool line was where the tears came in...from ME! I don't know what happened...but all of the sudden I was so sad that she was going and I started crying. The teacher that opened the door to get Reese out took one look at me and said, "Mom, we are going to have a great day...don't worry she will be great and so will you!" But, it ended well...I was able to pull it together and Reese had a great day. I had to remind myself that she will only be gone two days a week.
Leading up to our first day of school we have had lots of fun visitors...

Grandma Shirla came down this weekend and had her first time to see Hadley
Aunt Andrea "Annie" came down with Grandma and had her first time with Hadley
Grandpa Beckner came down earlier in the week to meet Hadley
Grandpa and Reese - she wore grandpa out playing
And after lots of visitors we are passed out
Ok...so only priceless because such a little thing can make so much noise and can make such a sad face.
This is what we get most of the time
And this is a little teaser...one of my friends (whom I grew up with in Atlanta) and her mother came over today to take some pictures of Hadley and Reese...this is one I snapped...just to hold you over until we get them all! Isn't she precious...I LOVE PICTURES
I decided that it was the perfect book to give Jason (because I wanted him to cry too...just kidding) because he is the most amazing father...and Reese and Hadley are so blessed! Basically the book is just a reminder to me of how God has created all of us with the hole in our souls longing to have a father to love, cherish and dance with us. God of course is who should fill that hole...but wow, how blessed to have an earthly father show Gods love to you in that way! So, I totally urge all of you to read this children's book...and for those of you who have children (especially girls) and even those of you who don't get your tissues ready.
Ironically, this is Jason dancing with Reese a few days before Hadley was born ( I gave him the book in the hopsital after Hadley was born).
The book comes with a cd that has the song of Dance Me, Daddy on it...and this was Jason dancing with his girls to that song!
Reese loving on her sister and singing with the song!
Sisterly love
Little bit tired after dancing!
Reese gives Hadley lots of kisses!

The boys...they enjoyed a morning of golf together!
Now, you know I can't have a post without my little Reese in it...she helped me bake brownies the day I left for the "staycation". She loved to lick!
Wow...chocolate face...but what a cute one!
