The New Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Woodlief
I have loved Caitlin since I met her...but this weekend took it to a new level. I adore my new sister and I could not be happier for Jonathan and Caitlin! They had an incredible wedding, at a beautiful place with an incredilby beautiful bride and handsome groom. They had planned to get married outside...but weather changed plans so we got a few shots outside after the wedding...but having it inside was incredible! I have been to more weddings than I can count...and I have been a lot too...but this by far tops them all! It was to me a true picture of marriage and how God intended it to be. A wedding that was about HIM...not about only the bride and groom but about God...and it was amazing...I will say that over and over...but it was...I have never been a part of anything like it!
It was a huge honor that Jason and I were in the wedding party and then that these two were the beautiful flower girls! They did so great...Reese was incredible you would have thought she was 10 years old the way she sat and watched the whole ceremony without making a peep. Hadley was so cute...but quiet...not so much (she may or may not have said "I want some cake" multiple times...oops). Not surprising that before the ceremony this is where I found them!
Giving my brother a little love and tears before the walk down the aisle! He brought me to tears here...and the whole ceremony...I could not hold it together (be glad you missed that )!
This weekend we had so many people helping out with the girls. Having both Jason and I in the wedding proved to be challenging having the three girls there. The McBrayers took charge of Brynlee during the wedding, the flower girls were with the Eubanks (well Reese was...Hadley was doing her own thing) and before and during Ashley and everyone else was lending a helping hand! WE are so grateful to have so many people who love our girls like we do!
The cakes were sooo good...and of course we had to have a big G! The girls kept asking the whole night when we were going to have cake!
Speaking of some of the helping hands...seriously all of these people have played such huge roles in the lives of our family especially in Jonathan's and my moms! It was amazing that they would take a whole weekend to make the long trip to Dallas, TX to not only come to the wedding...but to help with the entire weekend...including a little babysitting!
This scene...empty chairs...empty tables....because EVERYONE was dancing!
These girls danced and loved it...I did not do a good job of taking lots of dancing pictures.
Trying to get daddy on the dance floor! Poor Jason's arms were getting quite the workout holding his girls!
These two...tore it UP...They can dance!
Guess Who?
We headed home this morning (without Jason...he stayed in TX to do some work) and let me just tell you that getting through the airport and through a flight with 3 little ones...not a task I would like to do again! We all made it...with very little crying and screaming...but wow...when we got home I was sooo happy! (more to come on that)
