I guess I could blame it on the fact that we had a hard time deciding on what her name would be, or that with the holidays it got away from us, or well chasing two very busy girls around all day makes me forget my name!
Basically, I realized awhile after Christmas that everyone was surprised to see baby #3's name announced on our Christmas card. Honestly, that was not our intention I just did not realize that I had not told people!
So...our soon to be here little girl's name is Brynlee Noel Beckner! Jason and I both really liked the name Bryn...but we wanted a little bit more. We had also tossed around the idea of using Jason's middle name (Lee) as part of one of the girls names...and so we just put them together...Bryn and lee...BRYNLEE! Her middle name is Noel, after her Aunt Andrea Noel (Jason's sister).
So, there you have it. We are so excited to meet our little Brynlee Noel...just counting down the days now!

SNOW DAY
Well it was not really a snow day...more like an ice day but we enjoyed it regardless! The roads were really bad...so Jason could not go to work...YEAH! The girls were dying to get outside...so at 8:30 am...we were out! And we were the only crazy ones on our street for sure!
Snow/Ice House
Running in the ice grass and loving it!Smiling with daddy
Trying to get a picture with mommy...I am having a harder time squatting down these days...something is in my way...hmmmm. And yes...Hadley did not like me keeping her from running around.
These two enjoyed the weather for a bit and then were ready to get warm again...like the rest of us!Don't laugh at our snowman...or snow penguin!
Fun New Years Day Friends
A little behind I know...but we are watching Auburn play in the National Championship now...and I am realizing I did not post these great pics. We got to spend some time with the Alexanders on New Years Day...I am remembering this now because Dan and Katherine are in Arizona at the Big Game...so excited for them. I have to say that yes I am cheering for AU...ONLY...and ONLY because I love the SEC...and more because a guy that Jason mentored for years is Auburn's back up quarterback...Barrett Trotter...he is an incredible guy and a great football player. Auburn is lucky to have him.
Anyway...so here are the pics from New Years Day...

Hadley telling Katherine that this is Luke's ear
Hadley was so excited to have Luke and James at our house. She and Luke are about 9 months apart..but I think she thought he was her own little toyShe kept getting closer and closerUntil she finally got him...don't worry he was smiling you just can see it!
Reese got in on the Luke action...much to Katherine and Luke's surprise...she just tried to pick him up and carry him away...she does that with Hadley often!
The kiddos had their belated Christmas gift exchange...Reese gave James a pair of straw glasses like the ones she got...they were a hit!
Reese and James drinking it up
You can see the effect of the glasses so much better with milk!

We are so lucky to have such great friends whose children are so close in age to our girls. We love celebrating with ya'll every year. It is amazing how much they have changed...here is last year and then the year before that.

Happy New Year
After our whirlwind travels from Atlanta to St. Louis to Kansas City and back, we barely had time to regroup for a New Years celebration...but we did! I guess we are making a tradition of celebrating New Years Eve at Cocina Superior like we did last year!
Hadley giving everyone the "eye" as she waits for some more Avocado...or Avadado as she calls it. Reese and Daddy enjoying the foodTrying to get a picture of the sleepy girls....Happy New Year!
Finally, to show everyone how Hadley feels about mommy taking so many pictures (I got a new camera as a surprise Christmas present...I love it).
