Beach trip 2013

I thought I would share a few more beach trip photos and memories...(mainly so I don't forget).
It truly was a great vacation...we had a lot of stuff from home going on with our house (more to come later) but it is so nice to go and enjoy amazing weather in such a beautiful place.
To begin...our best family photo could not be left out.   There is pretty much not ever a family photo opportunity where our girls don't ask to have a crazy picture time...we may have started something we can't stop...and I love it!
Not a great picture because my camera lens kept fogging up!  But still a group crew behind the fog!

Bebe with her girls!  The girls had been counting down to the beach basically since March...most mornings when they would wake up or when they would go to bed they would ask if we were going to meet Bebe at the beach tomorrow?  They love their Bebe!

I am biased...but they are cute!  So much alike, yet so very different!  Brynlee soaked up every moment of the beach this year!  She loved the sand...she was covered in it and it never bothered her.  Hadley spent lots of patient time sitting in a little bay pool waiting for minnows to catch...and catch she did.  And Reese, well she never tires of the beach, or the pool, or of going out late to catch little crabs on the beach!

This picture is out of order...but cracks me up!  The past few years we have made the decision to head down to the beach late...as in leaving after dinner time so the girls will sleep and then we wake up with a full beach day!  That being said this is 10:00 pm...Reese was passed out in the back...but these two were jammin' (as much as you can in a car seat) to some music and cracking us all up!
Our nature lover...once again the lizard wisperer caught her share of lizards...including having two bite here....which did not sway her from continuing to hunt them down!
One night we headed out for dinner to celebrate the one year anniversary of Jonathan and Caitlin's kidney transplant!  I can't believe it has been a year...and they are both doing amazing!  They are both so good about keeping to a low sodium diet to keep Caitlin's kidney's healthy (well Caitlin is better than Jonathan...turkey sausage...uhummm)  Jonathan's health is a miracle transformation from where he was last year at the beach to now.  I almost can not believe it...Praise the Lord for His Faithfulness.

June 19th was the official one year anniversary!

Father's Day 2013

Fresh off a great trip to the beach we had a wonderful day celebrating this guy!  The longer I am married to him, the more I am convinced that I got really lucky!  I think I am beginning to see might enormous  very small controlling issues and I am amazed that he still loves me!  More than that, I love the way he loves our girls and models to them the way a father corrects gently, loves intensely, plays energetically and loves his wife.
A night out at the RedBar in Grayton beach...thank you Bebe, Jonathan and Caitlin
Such a fun daddy...spending hours catching fish and crabs with his girlies...he even suffered a few pinched fingers in the process.
 These girls love their daddy
A fun week at the beach...so needed, rest, relaxation and silly girls.
There is a not a picture that could capture his "kid at heart" nature!
Today was a great day celebrating him!  After church we headed to Mellow Mushroom...and favorite of his, but he also knows the girls love it!
This picture...well tonight at dinner we were going around saying our favorite things about daddy...
Reese: That he makes us pancakes, loves us gently (came up with that on her own)
Brynlee: pancakes
Hadley: that he plays with me...then I made a comment about how they have an incredible role model for them to use one day to find a man to marry...Hadley grabbed onto Jason's arm and began to cry saying she never wanted her daddy to leave her.  She said she was going to marry him.
MELT MY HEART...SHE IS SO TENDER

All of the comments from our girls speak volumes to the man you are babe!  Blessed beyond words!
"A righteous man
who walks in his integrity -
How blessed are his sons
after him."
(Proverbs 20:7, NASB)

I blame Instagram!

Well, it seems as though I can not keep up with this blog..and I really want to, I love documenting stuff with the girls and being able to keep all of you on the edge of your seat with the happenings in our life! We are very exciting people!   That being said, I started using INSTAGRAM awhile ago...and, well, I pretty much love it!  As is evident in this blog...I love pictures...and that is what instagram is...just a way to share pictures on your phone. So, I think I do that so much, that I forget about the blog!

Regardless...here are some things that I am way behind on updating!  Hadley had her first ballet recital and she was just the cutest thing ever!  Her costume was perfect for her...sparkly, twirly and she looked like an angle (ok it is almost perfect for her).

Bebe made the trip over for the second weekend in row after seeing Reese's recital the week before she came back to watch little Hadley in action.

This was Reese's last day of school...Brynlee and I came for some of the festivities...they played Minute to Win It games!  Reese was so sweet with Brynlee and let her come join in on the fun.
A big pile on hug with all of her sweet Kindergarten friends.

She looks so old here, I did not do a good job of keeping tear back...seriously this is only kindergarten graduation...what is wrong with me!
 Diploma time
I can not really put into words how incredible this year was for Reese...and me!  I was nervous putting Reese is a new school for Kindergarten, she only knew one person.  But, I knew I wanted her to just be half day she we could have more time and I wanted her to have another year in a school that had such a great foundation of Faith.  Reese memorized over 20 scriptures this year...and I love that she had that as a part of her day in school.  Here teachers were for sure hand picked for her...both so loving and so fun!  Dance parties, singing, hard working and both huge hearts for the Lord.  We were blessed by these two ladies!

Sweet love from her Daddy!  We are so proud of how hard Reese has worked this year.  I had a few people who were skeptical of her only doing half day...thinking she would not be ready for 1st grade...but she is more than ready!

Way too long

No excuses here...just have not made the time to sit down in the craziness here and update...but I want to...so here goes!  The past few months have been a little crazy with me working at the church but pulling a little double duty while we were searching for another full time person in the children's ministry...thankfully we found her...so my load is lighter...thank the LORD!  The Beckner gals are busy busy...and so much fun...and so exhausting...and so much fun!

Our little Bryn moved into a big girl bed last month.  Just like we did with the older two, she moved straight into the double bed!  She did not miss a beat...she loves her big bed and does not get out...a huge blessing!

These are really out of order...Here the girls are ready for one of 2 Easter egg hunts we did at Bebe's house over Easter weekend!  This was so fun to watch...they were all really excited!
Cutest bunnies ever compliment of Bebe!
Out for a family Easter lunch!  Bryn and Reese are both wearing dresses that my sister and I both wore when we were little...I love things like that!
I have such mixed emotions about this picture...my incredible grandmother, Myrl...words and pictures can not do justice to the amazing woman she is.  It has been a year since she had a massive stroke...and things are so different...but one thing that is the same is her heart for God.  We have been able to see her a few different weekend over the past 2 months...and every time the girls sing praise songs with her...and she sings and says thank you over and over.  Moments I wish I could capture forever!
Jason's Dad and family came into town back in March...the girls were beyond excited!

We also had a great visit from Uncle Chris, Aunt Andrea and drum roll....BABY NOLAN!  The girls were sooo excited for everyone but Baby Nolan took the cake for sure!

I am sure he left our house with girl overload!
 The girls
A little trip to daddy's office and then playing at Railroad park
 Bryn and Uncle Chris

The weather has been so nice the past few weeks...so I have jumped at the chance to eat out here...(selfishly the clean up is way easier).  This time of year we love our backyard...the girls "explore" every afternoon.

Time with the best daddy as we headed to a Spring Festival...our weekends are filled with Festivals, birthday parties, yard work and starting this weekend ballet recitals!

One weekend in Atlanta, my sister and I took the girls the the Georgia Aquarium!  I am so thankful that she came with me...it is a HUGE help to have an extra set of eyes and hands in all of those people!
The Beluga whales are a favorite exhibit by far

The girls in their matching dress from Aunt Caitlin and Uncle Jonathan
A picture that is totally what our little Hads is like...always in princess dresses...always singing or talking...and having fun!  The other day I told her that her princess dresses were not the best things to wear outside...she said "but mommy then how will everyone know I am a princess?' - point taken
Speaking of our Hadley...she had her school Spring musical last week...so cute.  Typical for her...she stands on a chair most nights and performs for us the entire thing...but at the actual program she was a little shy at times.

Tea Party

So, Reese's birthday celebration has stretched for a few weeks!  How fun to be 6!  Long story short...back in January Reese said she did not want a birthday party...just a celebration with family! Wow...but I should have known better.  During our travels back from Disney, she voiced her desire to celebrate her birthday with her friends!  I could have said "no", but I just decided what the heck...we can do this!  This, as in plan a party in less than a week, spend a very small amount of $, fit it into an already busy weekend...and Viola...a Tea Party!

Tea Party table ready for 10 6 year old guests!  Place cards were very exciting for Reese to have on the table!
A tea pot and tea cup decorating station.  We printed out tea pot templates on card stock, then cut out the "pot" circle in scrapbook paper designs and let the girls pick and glue.  We decorated plastic tea cups with stick on jewels!
Tea Pots everywhere...we pulled out all of our tea pots, this was a tea pot that was my sister's and mine when we were little!
This little gem came right on time...Aunt Joyce sent Reese a Belle doll and tea set...little did she know that it would fit perfectly into our party Theme.  We read the Belle tea party book during the party, and many hands loved to play with this mini stet.
Some of the "ladies" picking out jewels and pearls to wear
 Working on the teapots

My little Hostess with the mostess pouring some tea
Ta-da....the edible tea cups...fun and Yummy!  A scalloped wafer cookie, dab of icing, large marshmallow, spread more icing, add pearl sprinkles on top, cut a life saver in half...dab icing and put on the side for a handle!  The ate them up...and loved making them...favorite part putting the large pearl sprinkles on top!
The Little Tea party...Hadley, Brynlee and our friend Jayde Kirkland were here.  The Kirkland's came for a quick weekend visit...our girls loved having friends in the house!
No tea party is complete without a little makeup.  We did eyes, blush and lips...and then a little later...I painted nails!  I hope the moms were ok with Neon pink and purple nails!
The Dress up station...we had a few things out for the girls to put on...most came in their own...but some had fun dressing up and down...and up and down...and up and down...good thing I am used to that!
Maybe a little more stress added to my weekend...but watching the girls have fun was worth every bit!
CHEERS!
